Let me give you a little background on how Cuddle Up Quilts got its start. I grew up on a farm in Long Prairie. I had two grandmas that love to sew and make quilts and many other items for us. I was always so excited to see what I was going to get next from them. It is from that joy and passion that I started my quilting obession. I attended a quilting camp with my grandma and cousins and started my first quilt and I have not stopped since.
I have two wonderful boys who are huge supporters in my quilting passion. They are my inspiration to achieve more. I have been making quilts for many years now and have given them all away as gifts. My boys said to me one day, “Mom, why do you keep making these beautiful quilts just to give them away?” I told them that I have a 10-year plan and hope to be doing this full time, then I will have time to enjoy being a grandma to their kids. So with their encouragement and me wanting to achieve my goal, I have decided to launch my dream and start Cuddle Up Quilts.
